A major wave of intensification is heading to East York. Park Property Management has filed an application to replace two existing six-storey rental buildings at 2 and 4 Milepost Place with three new towers reaching up to 49 storeys. Designed by Core Architects, the project proposes 1,300 purpose-built rental units, including 159 replacement units for current residents.
Located just 250 metres from the future Ontario Line 3 Thorncliffe Park station, this development is a cornerstone of the area’s broader Transit-Oriented Community strategy. The site will feature a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom suites, supported by 4,550m² of combined indoor and outdoor amenity space and significant improvements to local pedestrian connectivity to Leaside Park. As the GTA continues to prioritize density near transit hubs, this proposal highlights the significant shift in Thorncliffe Park’s skyline.
