Developed by Collecdev-Markee Developments and designed by Batay-Csorba Architects, the 8-storey project is part of a five-site ‘Missing Middle’ initiative backed by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). The building features a mass timber design, housing 77 purpose-built rental units with a mix of 48 one-bedroom and 29 two-bedroom suites. Notably, the project commits to at least 10% affordable housing. Designed for a transit-oriented lifestyle, the site eliminates vehicular parking in favor of 91 bicycle spaces, capitalizing on its proximity to the future Bloor-Lansdowne GO station and existing TTC routes. This development marks a significant shift toward sustainable, high-density, and pedestrian-focused residential growth in the area.
