The Mount Joy neighbourhood in Markham is set to see significant growth with a proposal for three new towers near the Mount Joy GO station. Sunny Communities, in partnership with Cham Shan Temple, plans to redevelop a 14,577m² site at 9441 Markham Road, currently occupied by a commercial plaza and temple.
The proposed development includes towers ranging from 30 to 35 storeys, delivering 1,218 condominium units and retail space. The project aims to capitalize on the area’s increasing development momentum, joining other nearby projects like Platform 68 and Joy Station.
