The Council on Vertical Urbanism is bringing its Global Walking Tour to Toronto on October 1, 2026, exploring how high-rise residential development integrates with street-level urban life. The themed event, “The Space Called Home,” will guide professionals through South Core and CityPlace before culminating at Concord Canada House, where participants will experience sweeping skyline views from the 72nd-floor sky lounge. This curated tour examines the critical relationship between tower design, public spaces, and neighbourhood connectivity—a timely focus as Toronto’s residential skyline continues to evolve. Industry leaders including architect Mansoor Kazerouni and Concord Adex’s Gabriel Leung will provide insights into how modern residential towers function as complete communities. Tickets start at $25 for CVU members and $35 for non-members. Earlier, on September 17, the Transit+Towers series explores how subway access has driven Toronto’s vertical growth since 1954, examining stations along the Yonge corridor.
